DIN certfication

Not without reason, carbon has been hailed as the ultimate bike frame material. While it's true that carbon allows a lighter, stronger frame than any other material, it is not a miracle material and bike manufacturers must still strike a balance between light weight and strength.

At Glacier we are proud that our new frame is our lightest yet - as little as 1058 grams. But we are equally proud of the fact that it is also our strongest ever. In fact, it has received DIN Plus certification, the highest level of certification for outstanding quality the bike industry can offer (see our section on Glacier’s Carbon).  The DIN plus certification test is the toughest lab test available and demonstrates the strength and resilience of the Ice Storm².
