The Glacier philosophy

Glacier Bikes was launched in 2005 to offer a high quality bike to those looking for the best ride. We asked ourselves, “why should the Italians and the French be the only ones offering exotic and rare high end bicycles”. We wanted to put Canada on the cycling map by offering our own high end exotic bike. We also wanted to make sure that we don’t lose sight of why we got into the bike industry in the first place; to ride more. It is with these thoughts in mind that Glacier bikes will limit its yearly inventory to 200 units, regardless of how large a demand there is for the bicycle. In 2005, Glacier offered two models, the Team Ice and Black Ice. 2006 saw a third model introduced to the line, the Ice Storm, along with our exciting new "Frozen Plasma" finish on all bikes.

For 2008, Glacier Bikes is pleased to announce a new all-carbon frame - right down to the dropouts - and a new bike buying system that will allow you to match our sweetest frame to date with the build package of your choice to create a custom Glacier built just for you.
